Many tourists like to visit the Cape of Good Hope in the summer season from December to March. During this time the queue at the entrance can be very long. Sometimes there are also traffic jams on your way from Cape Town to the reserve. That is why planning ahead is crucial. You should start your trip very early – the park is opening early enough (around sunrise).
